Pursuant to European Regulation No. 679 of 2016 (hereinafter, the “GDPR) and Legislative Decree No. 196 of June 30, 2003, as amended by Legislative Decree No. 108 of August 10, 2018, No. 101 (hereinafter, the “Codice Privacy”), INTSYDE S.r.l. intends to inform you and all users and/or visitors of legal age to the website https://www.achillelauroboutique.com/en/ (hereinafter, respectively, the “Users” and the “Website”) about the use of personal data, log files, and cookies collected through the Website itself.

2. Information collected automatically by the Website – Cookies

a) Information collected automatically

Like all websites, our Website also uses log files, in which information collected automatically during your visits is stored. The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Website automatically acquire certain information during use, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

The information collected is as follows:

  •  Internet Protocol (IP) address or domain name of the device you are using;
  • type of browser and parameters of the device used to connect to the Website;
  • the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the resources requested or the method used to submit the request to the server;
  • name of the Internet service provider (ISP);
  • date and time of visit;

  • number of clicks, if any;
  • size of the file obtained in response;
  • numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.);
  • other parameters relating to the operating system and IT environment of your device.

b) Minimum age for browsing the Website

Users must be at least 14 (fourteen) years old to browse the Website. For more information, please refer to our Terms of Service. Therefore, browsing the Website by a minor under the age of fourteen constitutes a violation of our Terms of Service.

3. Personal data you provide us with when using the Website: why we process it

You do not need to register to simply browse the Website, but in order to provide you with the newsletter service (where applicable and if requested), INTSYDE must collect certain information about you when you register for the newsletter. To make online purchases on the Site, you must be at least 18 (eighteen) years old. Before completing the online purchase process on the Site, you will be provided with a specific and separate privacy policy. Similarly, if you request to subscribe to the newsletter service, you will be provided with another specific and separate privacy policy.

In any case, INTSYDE undertakes to use your personal data only in the ways, terms, and for the purposes specified below:

  1. to allow navigation within the Site;
  2. to comply with legal obligations;
  3. to carry out the technical management of the Site.

The data you provide will be processed mainly with IT tools under the authority of the Data Controller, by persons specifically designated and trained for processing, in accordance with Article 29 of the GDPR and Article 2-quaterdecies of the Privacy Code. We inform you that appropriate security measures are also observed in accordance with Articles 5 and 32 of the GDPR to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use, and unauthorized access.

4. Nature of data provision and legal basis for processing

For the purposes referred to in paragraph 3 above, the provision of your personal data is also automatic and is necessary in order to browse the Website.

Without prejudice to the fact that INTSYDE does not store browsing data except for the time strictly necessary, in any case and at any time, you may request the Data Controller to delete them by sending a simple communication, without any particular formalities, to the addresses indicated in paragraph 1 above.

With reference to the purposes referred to in points (i) and (iii) of paragraph 3 above, the legal basis for the processing is the performance of the services provided through the Website and requested by you, pursuant to Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b) of the GDPR. However, with regard to the purpose referred to in point (ii) of paragraph 3 above, the legal basis is the fulfillment - by INTSYDE - of legal obligations, pursuant to Article 6, paragraph 1, letter c) of the GDPR.

5. To whom and in what context we may transmit your data

Your data may be communicated, in Italy and in any case within the EU, in full compliance with the provisions of the GDPR and the Privacy Code, to the following subjects:

  1. to public bodies and/or authorities, where required by law or at their request;
  2. to external structures, entities, and companies used by the Data Controller to carry out activities connected with, instrumental to, or resulting from the use of the Website and the provision of any services requested therein;
  3. to external consultants, unless designated in writing as Data Processors.

6. Your rights

You may exercise your rights under Articles 15 et seq. of the GDPR at any time, for access, rectification, transformation, blocking, erasure, and restriction of processing, in the manner established by Article 12 of the GDPR and within the limits set out in Article 2-undecies of the Privacy Code.

7. Duration of Processing

Without prejudice to legal obligations, your personal data will be stored for a period of time not exceeding the achievement of the purposes for which they are processed (the so-called “storage limitation principle” referred to in Article 5 of the GDPR). The obsolescence of the data stored in relation to the purposes for which they were collected is verified periodically.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, INTSYDE may retain certain of your personal data exclusively to defend or assert its rights or in cases provided for by law or by order of a judicial or administrative authority.

8. Security measures

Through the Website, your data will be processed in compliance with applicable law and using appropriate security measures, in compliance with current legislation, including Articles 5 and 32 of the GDPR, aimed at preventing unauthorized access, theft, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of your data.

9. Changes to the Privacy Policy

This policy is subject to change by the Data Controller; in this regard, INTSYDE will notify you of any changes on the Website itself, with at least 15 (fifteen) days' notice prior to the date on which the new policy will apply.
