Cookie Policy

This policy concerns data processed through so-called “cookies,” i.e., those that the tool you are using to browse the INTSYDE S.r.l. website (hereinafter, respectively, the “Website” and “INTSYDE”) exchanges as a result of browsing itself.

With regard to the processing of personal data other than that specifically relating to cookies, please refer to the Website's general privacy policy on the processing of personal data, which can be found at the following link.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that the sites visited by users send and store on the device used by users to access the internet (computer, smartphone, tablet, or other devices), to be then retransmitted to the same sites on their next visit.

Cookies, which are usually present in large numbers in users' browsers and often have long persistence times, allow information to be collected on users' browsing on the Website. They are used, for example, to perform computer authentication, to monitor sessions, and to store information about the activities of users who access a website. They may also contain a unique identification code that allows the user's navigation within the site to be tracked for statistical or advertising purposes.

Some operations could not be performed without the use of cookies, which in some cases are therefore technically necessary for the functioning of the Site itself.

While browsing a website, users may also receive cookies on their device from sites (or web servers) other than the one they are visiting (so-called “third-party” cookies), through elements present on the visited site (such as images, maps, sounds, links to web pages of other domains on different servers, etc.).

Some cookies are stored permanently on the user's device and have a pre-set duration (so-called “persistent” cookies), while others are automatically deleted when the browser is closed (so-called “session” cookies).

Under current legislation, the express and prior consent of users is not always required for the use of cookies. In particular, so-called “necessary” cookies, i.e., those cookies that are essential for the functioning of the Website or necessary to perform activities requested by users, do not require such consent.

Among the necessary cookies that do not require express consent for their use, current legislation also includes:

  • analytical and statistical cookies, where used with the anonymization option activated by the Site operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site in order to compile general statistics on the service and its use;
  • navigation or session cookies, which guarantee normal navigation and use of the Site (allowing, for example, authentication to access restricted areas).

For so-called “preference cookies,” which allow users to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (e.g., language, location, etc.) in order to improve the service provided to them, the prior consent of users is required. Similarly, for so-called “marketing cookies” (i.e., those aimed at creating user profiles and used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user while browsing the web), as well as for statistical cookies that do not perform anonymization, the prior consent of the users themselves is required.
